SHE RESOLVES

SHE RESOLVES is an ICAMEK initiative dedicated to increasing the participation, visibility, and leadership of women in arbitration, mediation, adjudication, and other forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution.

As ADR continues to expand across commercial, construction, infrastructure, banking, land, and community disputes, ICAMEK recognises the importance of ensuring that women are meaningfully represented among arbitrators, mediators, adjudicators, and conciliators. SHE RESOLVES responds to this need through a structured platform that develops, profiles, and supports women dispute resolvers across Uganda and the wider region.

The platform develops and supports a pipeline of qualified female dispute resolvers through training, mentorship, profiling, and professional development, while promoting their appointment across commercial, construction, infrastructure, and community disputes.

It also serves as a network for knowledge-sharing and thought leadership, advancing a more inclusive and representative ADR ecosystem in Uganda and the region.
